Matthew is going to guide you to becoming more lovingly open to what it is that you want and who it is that you truly are. Before working with him, I was feeling a lot of shame and loss of my "social footing" after my divorce. I was also seeking to regain a solid vision for my life and a consistent practice of self-love. After my coaching sessions, I have now established a map and am very easily navigating through my goals. I have gained clarity because he has a gift for helping you unpack all of your emotional "to-do's" with patience and his unique brand of communication and kindness. I always left our sessions feeling empowered and thinking "I can definitely do this" and so, I did. He has compassion for others and you will feel, without a doubt, that his intention is to support you and hold space for you in the way that you need it. With Matthew, you won't ever feel the burdens of shame or judgment. Instead, you will feel the freedom of authenticity and guided self-discovery. He is absolutely brilliant and I highly recommend him!

My boyfriend and I had moved in together and blended our families several months ago. We were not doing well with the transition and were in crisis as a family, and as a couple. Matthew was able to give us an intense coaching regimen with tools, homework, and support to find ourselves and our relationship again. We have come such a long way in a short time and the work does not end here, of course, but we are much closer to achieving the warmth and togetherness that we want for ourselves and our kids!

Matthew Solomon is the real deal. It goes against the instinct of a man's ego to ask another how to help to understand or better his romantic shortcomings or issues that may cloud his judgement. Talking with Matthew is like talking to an old friend who has experienced most shades of relationships and can divulge some potent advice he has distilled from his personal experiences. He provides understanding, and perspective. Then he focuses on you and witnesses your patterns and hears your deepest sentiments we have drowned out over time and calls you to recognize it and challenge it. Matthew has a gift and if you are looking to really change and evolve as a romantic partner to make your life as wonderful as possible, look no further.

Matthew’s willingness to show up and hold space for women in their most challenging moments is such a breath of fresh air. Many men claim to be able to hold space but actually lack the emotional attunement required to effectively do so. Matthew models really healthy relating by reflecting, summarizing as well as guiding you into spaces where you gain deeper clarity and a suitable course of action. He asks poignant questions and has a genuine curiosity with regard to your experience. He simultaneously accepts and understands your emotions.Matthew’s commitment also to teach and educate men via courses and books on how to relate to women in a trauma-informed way is something to celebrate too.I highly recommend him and his work.

Matthew’s modalities, availability, and holding of space have become truly important to me over the past few weeks. As my coach, his presence and ease in accepting raw, deep emotion is so valuable. Sometimes I don’t know why I’m feeling the way I do, and he’s able to be present for my ‘monkey mind’, talk me through any lingering trauma patterns, and get me back to my optimistic, upbeat self — usually within the span of a short phone call! 🙏🏼 If you’ve never had a male coach before, I highly recommend reaching out to Matthew. He’s solid. In fact, he’s solid enough that I’m hosting him for a retreat here in Yachats, Oregon in early November.

If I could wave a transformational wand, it would be my prayer for humanity that all women have the opportunity to heal through Matthew. It would be my ultimate vision that all men open their hearts and minds to him, rejoicing in the compassionate, enlightening beauty that is his teachings and his spirit. Matthew is a safe harbor in a storm of patriarchy. He provided for me many healing interactions and experiences as I've worked to heal and navigate my existence through the #MeToo era. Working with him, I have flourished in being able to exercise trust in men again. Matthew's pure integrity, virtue, chivalry and authenticity helped me shatter remaining barriers keeping me from opening my heart, more fully, to embody a deep level of faith and trust in my interactions with men.
Your shame will cease to exist in so many aspects of your life. Matthew's presence allowed me a heightened creative energy that inspired and led me to jump into my passions and pulverize the terror barriers. Matthew enveloped me in an energetic security that allowed my brain to be present and process trauma and emotions trapped below the surface. I don't know any coaches like Matthew Solomon. His compassion, generosity and drive for social justice in the spiritual community is unprecedented. I've never had the privilege of living through so many immediate, introspective breakthroughs, transformational shifts, experiences of paranoia, emotional releases, enchanting synchronicities, triumphs and experiences of pure joy, laughter and bliss in such a short period of time with a coach or human being.

Matthew, I want to thank you for TRULY holding space for women and the masculine. You hold space for the feminine in a way that doesn’t put up with our shit. It can be tough love at times, yet so gentle. I don’t know how you do it.

Before we started our coaching sessions, I had a good job that I enjoyed and made good money. I had sweet loving pets, a home, my own car, friends, family, another family at the Dojo where I train in martial arts, plenty of food, heat, clothing and everything a person needs to survive. And yet, I felt like the world was crashing down on me if I wasn't fighting every second of every minute of every day to keep it all at bay. I was constantly anxious and exhausted and also dealing with some sizable health issues that required regular doctor's visits.
After only a few months of coaching, I still had a good job and I was now making more good money! I had my sweet loving pets, my home, my own car, friends, family, another family at the Dojo, plenty of food, heat, clothing, and every thing a person needs to thrive....And joy! And peace! And calm! And laughter, and love, and fearlessness, and the ability to give and receive, love myself. My health had improved so dramatically and I no longer needed to see my doctor with the same regularity! I do what I want, and my life is soooo damn sweet.
When a person spends all their energy holding everything at bay, there is no space for the good stuff to get in. As Matthew created the space for me to knock down my fears, good stuff started flowing in. Example: I was concerned for my job. When I got real clear that I had a plan, and everything was always working out for me, and that I did not in fact need to worry about keeping that job because there are other options, not only did I not lose the job, I received a nice raise. :-) Example: My old dog is old, and has health issues. I know I'm going to lose her someday. But. She's still here now, enjoying life, and she's still with me. When I stopped worrying about having to mourn her someday, I started enjoying her today. The best thing is, now that I'm not so worried about her every minute of every day, she's more relaxed, and getting healthier.
Matthew is at once a rock and a safe place to land, he stands for me, he believes in me, and he is completely non-judgmental. He creates the space for me to see things in a different way. I like to say "he unstuck me. " :-)
Believe him when he says he will stand for your greatness. He is The Terminator of standing for you - he will never give up, and he will never stop until you have what you want. ;-)

On our first two calls with Matthew, we could barely even look at each other. We were a disaster and were like robots going through the motions after years of therapy. After six weeks, we were happier and more-connected than we had ever been. Period. And two months later, we were engaged! I can't believe how quickly everything turned around for us!

When I met Matthew, I assumed I was pretty good with leadership qualities and just needed a little "brush up". ( Let's say I was slightly arrogant, and a touch resistant!) I had regular weekly calls and meetings with Matthew, (these were NOT always fun..but had me really take a look at what was stopping me in my life.) I quickly discovered I wasn't as skilled as I had assumed I was, and I began to see, in fact, how jaded and complacent I really had become at that point in life. (That certainly wasn't going to have me inspire others or be an effective leader.) I was quite unaware of this. I thought I knew it all, or most of it, anyway.
One of the biggest shifts in my confidence and effectiveness was in a test where I was required to do some public speaking. I called Matthew a few hours beforehand to inform him that I would not be participating (I was willing to take a "fail" that evening). Matthew, quite gently, encouraged me to confront my fears and take it on. It was a challenge, and the way he presented it, it almost sounded fun. (He nailed it..--I was terrified!). I finally, somewhat reluctantly, agreed to do it. I did some work polishing my talk, walked through what I call the "wall of fear", and just went for it...just for the fun of it...even if I failed miserably. I gave a very confident 1 hour presentation, scoring one of the higher grades, proving to myself that I could really move beyond my fears. It was a very exhilarating experience! That single encouragement and memory of my success and confidence in that moment has permanently transformed the way in which I now speak to others, as well as groups, and confidently take on leadership roles in my life and career.
Matthew coached and assisted me in going way beyond who I had come to known myself as, beyond my own self imposed limitations, and I am grateful to him for his passion, and dedication to his work.

I have done several of Matthew’s small group, five week programs. Matthew’s guidance has been so helpful in helping me live more in the moment. He got me to focus on what is my context or story, so I could nicely pack all the inessential noise in my life away to focus on being present. He listens intently and hears/highlights the beauty and love in what others say. His gentle guidance to doing more of what you love and loving yourself in the process, is a huge reminder that so many of us need. He definitely has helped me experience a child-like innocence and wonder about the world and appreciation that I haven’t accessed in a long time.Matthew attracts great people for his work. In a very short time, I felt connection and love in our group.

Matthew Solomon has been one of most effective coaches I have had the pleasure of working with. He is highly reliable, surprisingly intuitive and very charismatic. He is the coach you actually WANTto contactto get direction and clarity in the moments you feel overwhelmed and stuck. He always has a fresh and clear perspective, and lovingly and logically points you in the right direction, usually just by asking the right questions and getting you to see other options, and to prioritize your commitments and your goals in a more clear way. He guides you in a way where you, yourself, come up with several other possibilities, and see most effective ways of attaining your goals.
Matthew is a person of high integrity and holds you to the same standard, without any judgments or make-wrongs, which is an art. He is always calm, collected and kind. With Matthew you always know, you have a rock you can lean on and you know he has your back. In his relationship with you, you know that love is always present, and you feel respected and acknowledged, as well as valued. In fact I can say, you really grow as a human being in his presence...And that is a rarity. In one word, he is a gem.

I wanted to write something epic that would do some justice to the huge impact Matthew has made in my life and I'm struggling to find the right way to say it. Matthew gave me so many tools and insights that I continue to use everyday. Whenever I experience stress or overwhelm, I am able to shift it to power and ease by remembering his coaching. His presence alone is such a clearing and he allows me to experience myself as whole, complete, and perfect. He is a powerful, calm, and loving stand for you at all times and is able to meet you wherever you are. Since working with Matthew, my life has transformed and I'm truly living the life I used to dream about. I used to never speak up in meetings or raise my hand in class, and I'm now confident speaking to a large group of people, leading teacher trainings in Thailand as a Peace Corps Volunteer.

Matthew is a very compassionate human being. He has always been there for me, no matter what. He is understanding, kind, strong, and a "no non-sense" person. As a Coach and a fellow human being he has never made me wrong. His coaching style is unique. He is very skilled at getting into my world and to see what is missing, the presence of which would make a real difference for me. I use his coaching day in, day out in my every day life and I highly recommend Matthew Solomon as a Coach.
